Easy to use and space saving
Sash windows feature comfortable handling by simply pushing the lower sash upwards. It moves very easy and stops in any position.
In kitchens or bathrooms, for instance, windows can be opened without clearing out the window sill first.
Airing is considerably easier and safer (compared to a conventional window):
no casement is sticking out into the room and the window cannot be accidentally slammed shut.
