DIN EN 1090

Anyone who places load-bearing steel or aluminium components (e.g. conservatories, roofs) on the European market has been legally obliged since July 2014 at the latest to meet the requirements of EN 1090 (including factory production control).

CE marking

The CE marking obligation applies to the "placing on the market" of construction products. With the CE marking, the manufacturer assumes responsibility for ensuring that his entire, marked product, including all materials, complies with European legal regulations.
