OpenAir roof window receives award

The extraordinary and innovative construction of the Sunshine OpenAir roof window in the electoral palace in Koblenz was awarded the German Metal Construction Prize 2011 on 4 November 2011.
The roof sliding window, documented with a video film, is 4 metres wide and 4.70 metres high. It is 4-part, i.e. 3 movable wings are driven by motor under an upper fixed part.
