A pitched roof was installed in the ridge above the barn in accordance with the preservation order. The construction consists of filigree welded aluminum profiles with decoupled, highly thermally insulating triple glazing. The integrated solar shading function ensures reduced energy input and pleasant brightness. And thanks to a coating on the outside of the pane, cleaning effort is reduced to a minimum. This function is a great advantage due to the reduced accessibility and remains permanently intact for the life of the pane.
The tilting roof ventilation window provides an effective exhaust air option at the highest point of the building.
The eye-catcher is an antique lamp above the dining table. This is suspended centrally in the roof light ridge via a pulley on a cable with an integrated power cable. The power supply is concealed in the welded roof light construction. However, other items weighing up to 100 kg can also be hung there.
In addition to these skylights, Sunshine Wintergarten GmbH also supplied a glass façade and a large conservatory for this old city farmhouse.
